According to its statute, the United Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos is an autonomous association of individuals, which is voluntarily constituted and seeks, with the mutual assistance and solidarity of its members, their collective, economic, social, cultural growth through a co-owned and democratically governed enterprise. It is a self-sufficient organization and is governed by international cooperative principles and values.
Members of the Cooperative are individual vine-growers. The General Assembly is the supreme body of the Cooperative and is made up of all the members. The elected governing bodies of the Cooperative are the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board elected directly by the General Assembly.

The new Board of Directors of the UWC Samos was elected on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016.
