On Wednesday, July 12th, 2017, a Masterclass for the fine wines of the United Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos, Greece, was held under the program “Wine promotion in third country markets”, under the aegis of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
The Master Class was hosted at the Baton Rouge Steakhouse & Bar in Montreal, and the flavors and aromas of the wine were uniquely re-invented by the acclaimed sommelier, Nick Hamilton.
Visitors enjoyed the tasting of the Samos Vin Doux, Samos Anthemis, Samos Nectar and High Peaks, which accompanied the restaurant’s chef’s creations, especially for the occasion.
Exceptional guests like importers, journalists, sommeliers attended the event, including Paul Nakis and Mr. Paul Sara, radio station CJAD’s host Eramelinda Bocher, radio Announcer Pierre Renfret, editor of the Greek Newspaper VIMA Peter Manikis, Mr. John Coconas host of EDO MONTREAL and Mr. John Stabb wine collector/connoisseur. A special guest from California was the wine collector, Mr. Bradley King. With an excellent mood and relaxing atmosphere, the attendees traveled for a little while on the beautiful island of Samos.
The event was held by CST Vins & Spiritueux, the exclusive representative of Samos wines in Canada. \
