Title: New Peak for "High Peaks" (Psiles Korfes)
Another high score has been added recently to the many successes of Samos wine, this time for the dry white wine “Psiles Korfes” or “High Peaks” in the USA. It received a score of 89/100 from the “Wine Advocate”, the wine review tribune of the famous wine writer and critic Robert Parker.
The wine was reviewed by Mr. Mark Squires who is a close partner of Mr. Parker and in charge of the Greek wine sector. The rating was published in the Wine Advocate’s web page www.erobertparker.com .
Mr. Mark Squires noted in his review of Psiles Korfes (High Peaks) the flavor, the powerful aromas and the surprisingly good finish of a balanced and well-structured wine, from the Muscat from Samos (white small-berried Muscat), a grape variety that the Union of Winemaking Cooperatives of Samos Knows very well.
